Lands of Russia

In Russia, Belarus and Ukraine (three lands of the former Soviet Union) military personnel have little spiritual guidance. In 1996 Cadence formed a partnership with the largest evangelical church body in these nations: the Union of Evangelical Christians-Baptists (UECB). Through this partnership, Cadence supports more than thirty former military members and their families. They share the gospel with military people in a variety of ways, providing Christian concerts, leading Bible studies, counseling families, distributing Bibles and other Christian literature, organizing children’s Sunday schools, even planting churches near military bases. The workers in these countries embody Cadence’s passion for military people and many are trusting Christ through their ministries.
