Mark and Carol often had people living with them while at Dallas Theological Seminary. So when they heard of the Hospitality House ministry, it seemed like a good ministry fit for them, and indeed it was for 17 years. From 1983 -1993 they served at the Bamberg and Kaiserslautern Houses, then they returned to the Chicago Land area to work along side Paul Metko as the Eastern Regional Director of the Americas Field. At the end of 1999, they moved to Midland, Texas and enter into the pastorate.
Mark and Carol have three children. Andrea, a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and Malachi Missionary in Okinawa, Japan. Andrea is engaged to David Hutchings, who will soon be working with Malachi also on Okinawa. Brian, is a college student and fulltime video photographer for a local news station. Carolyn, is also a student at Midland College and will be soon entering Texas Tech University headed for a degree in physical therapy.
Mark is currently working on his D. Min. at DTS while Carol is finishing her B.S. from Moody Bible Institute. They are looking forward to serving at the Christian Fellowship House near Ft. Lewis, WA. They will serve along side of Ron and Susan Hand.
