Bio of the Johnsons
After five wonderful years of youth ministry in Wiesbaden, Germany, our family began another chapter of ministry in October 2005 with Malachi in Yokosuka, Japan, ministering to students whose parents are U.S. Navy personnel. We are excited to see what God does there while we are investing in the lives of numerous students whose parents are serving on the USS Kitty Hawk and its support vessels or at 7th Fleet HQ.
Nate graduated from Biola University, La Mirada CA, in 1998 with a B.A. degree in Christian Education. Louise attended Multnomah Schol of the Bible in 1997 while majoring in Youth Ministry. They met in 1997 while both were working with the MS youth group in Heidelberg, Germany. They we married on September 4th, 1999 in Ventura, CA. They also served as the middle school youth pastors at Bible Fellowship Church in Ventura, CA before moving to Wiesbaden in September 2000. They have three children, Ellie- 5, Kara- 3 and Krista- 1. All of their children were born overseas.
