Biography of Larry & Linda Ingalls
Larry was introduced to Cadence (OCSC) in 1978 as a young marine stationed overseas in Japan. That is where he gained a heart for this ministry. After being married in 1983, Larry and Linda began their ministry with Cadence in 1985, serving at the Panama Hospitality House. Their second assignment in 1992 was representative work in the California/Arizona region for two years. Their third assignment began in 1994 in Yokosuka, Japan, working with the Navy’s 7th Fleet, home to over 24,000 Americans. Larry and Linda were the senior directors of “The Lighthouse.” Their primary ministry focus was evangelistic outreach and discipleship of young, single sailors. “The Lighthouse” was the only ministry in the community specifically targeting these young adults. In 2002 the Ingalls were re-assigned to Cadence headquarters where Larry is now serving the Cadence missionaries as the Executive Director of Personnel. The Ingalls have three children, Daniel, Christina, and Sarah. Sarah was adopted from Chine in August 2007. Linda enjoys home-schooling their children. Linda’s hobbies are sewing, having teas, and playing the piano. Larry’s hobbies are playing the guitar, flying stunt kites, raccketball and reading.
