A Vision for the Future: The 2020 Vision
A Deeper Reach, A Broader Impact
God is calling Cadence to reach deeper into the American military and to impact the militaries of the world. The 2020 Vision is a focused view of the next two decades of ministry at Cadence. By the year 2020 we intend to:
- Expand our current open home, retreat, youth, and specialized ministries to all viable military communities around the globe.
- Engineer new and vibrant ministries to these five strategic groups of people within the military community:
- People of color
- Dependent children
- Women in uniform
- Deployed persons and their families
- Militaries of other nations
- Equip a fresh wave of Christ’s ambassadors in the military who will proclaim Christ around the world.
Please join Cadence in prayer for the accomplishment of these short-term objectives (3-5 years) for the 2020 Vision. We determine that Cadence will be well:
- Positioned for launching into the 21st Century by the strengthening of Cadence’s people and financial resources;
- Powered for impact in the 21st Century by the establishment of a worldwide prayer movement on behalf of Cadence, its staff, and ministries;
- Pointed for direction in the 21st Century through the galvanizing of the Cadence team by the 2020 Vision;
- Prepared for ministry in the 21st Century by the aggressive researching of cultural shifts, trends, and values;
- Poised for pioneering new works in the 21st Century by the infusion of a spirit of innovation, adventure, and creativity into the ethos of Cadence; and
- Postured for enduring spiritual vitality through the 21st Century by the reaffirmation of our confidence in God’s Word as the foundation for all of life and ministry.
